Closing!

Yesterday we got to experience the joy of closing on our first home. Honestly, it was a bore. The lady sat there and summed up every single page and had us either sign or initial all of them. They even gave us a bound book of copies of every page we signed. Our Realtor gave us a thank you card and inside was a gift card to Lowe's for $50. Doug was way excited about that and decided we needed to go to Lowe's and get a belt sander so he can start on the hard wood floors in the master bedroom. Goodness, he was as giddy as a school boy with his first crush...haha.

We are hoping to take possession of the house this weekend. Doug is staying with my family right now until he can move into the house. So he is way excited to get into it. He also wants it ready for when I move in after the wedding.
